Dr. Sumit Sharma has more than 15 years of experience in Urology and Kidney Transplant. He has successfully performed over 1500 Kidney Transplant Surgeries and 500 Retroperitoneoscopic Donor Nephrectomies. Dr. Sumit completed his MBBS from VIMS, Bellary, and M. S. from Dr. SN Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan before pursuing his M.Ch. Urology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh. He has a wide range of experience in performing various simple and complex procedures like PCNL, URS, TURP, HOLEP, TURBT etc. Proficient at Andrology and male infertility, his other areas of interest include: advanced Laparoscopic Uro-Surgical Procedures, Endourological Procedures and Laparoscopic Urological Cancer surgeries. He has performed more than 500 Laparoscopic Nephrectomies both simple and radical, and other laparoscopic reconstructions, like lap pyeloplasty, lap ureteric re-implant etc.
