Dr. Saurabh has performed more than 6000 joint replacements and 3000 arthroscopic procedures with advanced and high-end orthopedic techniques. He is specialized in Computer Navigated hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Saurabh’s area of expertise also includes revision arthroplasty, hip and knee preservation procedures, treatment of patients with sickle cell disease where joints are damaged. He is skilled in managing orthopedic emergencies and cases of polytrauma, fracture management, soft tissue injuries, septic arthritis, and osteomyelitis.
Dr. Saurabh has a special interest in reconstructive tumor(Benign and Malignant) surgery and musculoskeletal problems in post-polio and cerebral palsy. He also operates on teenagers with problems like hip dysplasia, when the hip doesn’t fit properly into the socket or slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) when the growth plate slips off the end of the thighbone.
He developed an interest in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures and sports injuries as well as complex joint replacements of hips and knees. He worked in the arthroplasty and arthroscopy unit of a renowned hospital. Thereafter, he worked with another prestigious healthcare institution where he handled more than 100 joint replacement procedures of varying complexities every month, thus giving him immense experience in the field.
