Dr. Swarupa is Director and Unit Head in the Department of Radiation oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. With post MD experience of over 23 years to her credit, she has been an invited faculty at various National and International forums, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Indian College of Radiation Oncologists (ICRO) and Mentor by The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). She is the Co- guide for Phd Thesis at the University of Ghent, Belgium. She was a Nominated Member of Project Advisory committee For Health Communication, Dept Of Science and Technology, Govt Of India She received the certificate of recognition by The Health Minister Jharkhand for contribution in creating cervical cancer awareness in Women of Jharkhand
