Dr. Krishan Chugh is one of Asia’s finest Pediatrician, and Pediatric Pulmonologist­Pediatric lntensivist. He is one of the first Indian Pediatricians to start working actively in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology and Allergy. He has an extensive experience in Pediatric and Neonatal Bronchoscopy. He is a pioneer in interventional bronchoscopy in children in India. He conducts an annual workshop on Pediatric Bronchoscopy at FMRI .

Dr Chugh started the first Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of the country at Kalawati Saran Children Hospital, Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi in 1982. Later when he moved to Sir Ganga ram Hospital, New Delhi, He set up the first PICU in private sector in the country. Now he heads the PICU at FMRI. Dr Chugh has a passion for teaching and training young Pediatricians. He has trained a large number of Pediatricians who now are successfully running PICUs in their respective cities and towns. His views are highly sought after by the media also on subjects related to child health, including, Covid, Pollution, Dengue, Swine flu etc.
